HBO kicks it old school with the browser warning. I’ll give them this — they recommend some decent browsers, and let you try anyway (and they even let you turn the nag off).
Still, the site seems to work just fine in Chrome, and the part of the site I was trying to get to (the Boardwalk Empire forums) looks like it’s a giant Flash app anyway.
